Summer Learning Journey: Week one, Day Five, Activity One

1. MāoriI heahea ahau, pēnei i te maki.
English: I'm Being silly, like a monkey.

2. MāoriKei roto i te ngahere he Kereru e rere ana.
English: In the forest there is a flying Kereu.

3. MāoriKi Waihōpai, kei te whiti te rā.
English: In Invercargill the sun is shinning.

4. Māori: I kai ahau, pēnei i te kītere.
English: I'm eating like a squirrel.

5. Māori: Kei roto i te ngahere he Kwi e hikoi ana.
English: In the forest there is a Kiwi walking.

    Wow you have made your own sentences and translated them. That is just fantastic, well done.
    Can you speak Te Reo? Or did you use google translate to create these?

    I really like that you have put in the extra effort and have created your own.
